Windows 10: Win 11 updates Randomly cause boot failures

Pc less then 1 yr older then win 11 release Dell G-5900. Since my pc has crashed Several times some times causing a boot failure causes black screen immediately on boot. loading other support tools that fail during any process selected with exception of a full factory reset . 2 times reporting false ssd failure during hardware test . I have spent what seems by now weeks combined as random updates are pushed through seeming untested. No support tools would solve the issue and majority of the time a reset is the only options which sometimes failed during update process and completed after

BSOD DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE randomly after cold boot/sleep

For the past month I have been getting random BSOD's all with driver power state failure. They happen randomly, usually within the first 5-10 minutes of cold booting or waking my computer. Steps I have taken to attempt to fix the problem:

1. Reinstalled GPU drivers/ tried old drivers
2. Fresh installed Windows 1803, still happened, then fresh installed 1709
3. Disabled Fast Boot

None of these things fixed the issue, any help would be much appreciated at pinpointing the issue. Thanks

 

Confusing Disk Boot Failure

Well, Brand new Harddrive the western digital se16 caviar 640. Had a clean install, and while installing drivers and programs after a couple restarts I am receiving disk boot failure. Not the first restart or the second. Each time that it has given me the failure was after installing updates. I've system restored to before installing the updates and it works fine. It's a large list of around 38 or so updates. Granted may be a fluke but anyone heard of this?

Automatic restart after an update may be caused by a hardware failure. As our initial troubleshooting step, we suggest that you follow these steps:

• Press Windows and type "view advanced system settings".
• Select View advanced system settings.
• Under the Startup and Recovery section, click
  Settings.
• Under System Failure, remove the check mark next to
  Automatically restart and click OK.
• Restart your computer.
