Windows 10: Win 11 Upgrade Compatibility Confusion

I'm looking to upgrade a Win10 Pro 22H2 desktop w/ Lenovo IQ1X0MS motherboard to Win11. It's a Core i5-6500 processor but the Win11 compatibility tool says it doesn't meet the requirements due to the processor, and TPM not being @ Ver 2.0 currently Ver 1.2.When I review the MS provided link regarding approved processors, it says the i5-6500 is approved to upgrade with Win10 build 21H2 installed, but not 22H2?!? I looked into regressing the OS but I don't seem to have the option available. I've also searched for a TPM 2.0 update but haven't had any luck. It doesn't make sense that the Win11 u

As you know, only PCs meeting certain hardware requirements can be upgraded routinely to Win 11. Most PCs can actually run it- and people have installed Win 11 on 'incompatible' PCs- see below. Even if you can't fully meet Win 11 hardware specs (imposed by the installer rather than the O/S itself in some respects) there are work arounds to effect Win 11 installation. I can't upgrade to win 11. says my CPU not compatible I have a( I7 6700k). It is listed as one that is compatible

 

Upgrade to Win 11

Trying to upgrade laptop to Win 11. My processor is listed on Microsoft compatibility list as one that will work with Win 11, but the health check says it won't and therefore will not allow upgrade. All other items on list are ticked green. Any advice please?
