    Win 11 will not activate on new Dell Optiplex. Error: 0x004f211


    I have a new Dell Optiplex 3000. Set up today and got the error that Win 11 was not activated because of hardware change. This machine is right out of the box; hooked up monitor, keyboard and mouse.Troubleshooter was no help.I used an app to pull the code so I could re-enter it. Said it was not a valid code.I am suspicious that there is no Microsoft sticker anywhere on the machine. Purchased from Amazon

    Upgrade Dell Optiplex 7040

    I have a Dell Optiplex 7040 with TPM 1.2 enabled and see that I can upgrade it to TPM 2.0 but it still has an Intell Core i7-6700 CPU that prevents me from upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Can the CPU be added to the list of compatible processors and I be notified when it has? If not, can you tell me another CPU that works on a Dell Optiplex 7040 that is compatible?

    Dell Optiplex , Win 10 , no sound from headphone jack

    Dell Optiplex 790
    Win 10 Pro
    Intel Core i5
    240gb SSD
    8g RAM
    On-board sound card which I believe is a Realtek...
    I bought this refurbished today with Win 10 already installed , however it does not deliver sound to the headphone jack.
    The control panel shows only "High Definition Audio Device (2x)" , and I can hear sound from internal speakers.
    I have already seen posts on the Dell forum which suggest Win 10 not compatible with available Dell drivers.
    Suggestions please ?

    Dell Optiplex Clean Install of Windows 10

    We have 20 new Dell Optiplex 7020s on the way with Windows 7 preloaded. I'd like to know the steps to perform a clean install of Windows 10.
