    WIn 7 with PGP to Win 10


    I have been running WIn 7 with PGP Whole Disk Encryption for years. With the impending drop of support for Win 7 I need to go to Win 10. DO I need to decrypt my data prior to installing Win 10. Or is it a non issue?

    I have downloaded PGP 10.1.1 64 bit but when installing its saying "sorry.
    Yukon is not supported in this release" What steps should I do next?

    Win 7 and Win 10 on network

    I have home network with separate modem, router, and WAP's. My Windows 7 computer does NOT list the Windows 10 computers on network computer list but the Windows 10 computers network list DO list the Windows 7 computer.

    Turned off firewalls, gave permissions, shared drives. Nothing allows Win 7 computer to access the Win 10 computers.

    Any suggestions for a fix?

    Windows 10 and PGP

    I was using PGP on WIn 7 and so was told it had to be removed before I could upgrade to WIn 10.

    Having upgraded to WIn 10 (Pro 64 bit) I thought I would try and reinstall PGP (10.1.1 64 Bit) and I am pleased to say it installed just fine.

    I should point out - I use only very limited features of the product, I pretty much only use it to build self decrypting archives, and it seems to be doing that just fine.

    Anyway - may be worth trying it, it may work for you as well.
