Windows 10: Win 8.1 check for update error 8024402F

HI everyone i have win 8.1 installed on my laptop . today i just changed my settings for update i switched of give me update for other microsoft product i truned this of . but after this thing i did witndows is getting an error 8024402F i even ran the trouble shooter also i turned that option on again but still not working plese help

Have you tried the Win 7 trouble shooter what sits in the Control Panel Options.???

If the troubleshooter didn’t detect any issues, I would suggest you to check if the Windows update service is running. Refer to these steps:

1. Press Windows key +R, type “services.msc”
   
2. Locate the Windows update service and check if it is running.
   
3. If not, right click on the service and click start to start the service.
   

Have you tried to search for Updates at a later point of time or the next day ???

These issues can relate to the Windows Servers having a issue or being overloaded.

Try a few hours later or the nest day.

If the issue persists.

Windows error 8024402F Fix?

You tried setting to not get updates then rebooting and then turning it back on ?


I did come across this too, but only gives a MAYBE fix LMAO.

I have tried many times to download Win updates but I keep getting the error message 8024402F, have run the Update Troubleshooter also many times with no success.

Can someone please help.
