Windows 10: Win 8.1 to Win 10 upgrade failing

Hi all

As 10162 is stable I thought I'd upgrade 8.1 to it, just to see how it goes.
I have 8.1 core /home so D/Led the iso from MS used rufus on to USB followed the tut Brink made, tried to upgrade from within 8.1, keeping personal settings etc.
It gets to 24% then fails just goes back to desktop with "instillation failed" box.

Tried:
disabling AV,any and all 3rd party software running / mounted iso ran same prob
Tried rebooting to usb and install from it but it wont boot to usb.
I do have 10162 pro on dual boot on different partition, maybe that is causing it to fail?

Any Ideas /suggestions would be most welcome

i tried to upgrade from win 8.1 to win 10 but it failed

window 10 display drive failure

I upgrade my PC from win 8.1 to win 10. On win 8.1 a could play games from Microsoft store but when I upgraded to win 10 I cannot play these games because the display drivers fail and the game screen disappears.

Can you help me solve this issue?

 

Turn off safe boot and fast boot in BIOS and try again with the ISO mounted in File Explorer and clicking "Setup.exe".

 

Thank you have tried all, and still no luck, still thinking it might have something to do with 10 pro that I dual boot
