Windows 10: Win 8 ASUS: Primary Drive BitLocked & MS Account Password Won't Work + MUCH MORE!

In short. I found a laptop from about 2013-2015. ASUS running Windows 8. I finally gained access to the device and learned that Microsoft activated BitLocker on my Local Disk Drive which has my OS and all my data. I selected "skip this drive" and went to try and log into my laptop. However, the password is not working. Even after providing the correct recovery key. The account is a Microsoft Account, not Local Account. I have reset my Microsoft password and waited for the password to hopefully update on the device, but it won't. Thus no password is working, whether correct or incorrect. I watc

bitlocker performance penalty question

I enabled bitlocker through settings, drive encryption screen by selecting the "Turn On" button for the primary drive.

I wasn't asked for a password and the recovery key wasn't uploaded to my MS account. I can't find the recovery keys. I checked the locations suggested by MS (printout, usb drive neither installed), MS account (not there) and I don't have a Azure directory.

Just read your message about upgrading to a full version of Win10 before I enable bitlocker on the microSD card. I don't see this as an option with 10S so I'll have to do that.

We suggest to change it from Control Panel. You may follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X.
• Select Control Panel.
• Click BitLocker Drive Encryption.
• Click Unlock drive.
• Type your present password and click Unlock.
• The drive will be unlocked and you will notice more links on the right of that particular unlocked drive, click
  Change password.
• Now, you may type your Old password, New password and Confirm new password.
• Click Change password.
