Windows 10: Win+Alt+PrtScr doesn't work as expected

Windows 10 x64 version 10.0.19042.867:


I used to press Win+Alt+PrtScr to capture the active window. The screenshot had been saved to ..\Pictures\Screenshots automatically. In addition, I got a notifcation in the right bottom corner of the screen that the screenshot has been saved. I've upgraded to this Windows version lately. Before, in 1809, it worked well. All three keys work, i.e. the keyboard is not broken. Other screenshot hotkeys including Win+PrtScr work as well, but not the combination mentioned. Just nothing happens.


This link lists hot keys, but Win+Alt+PrtScr is not there. I happened to see that the combination is related to the "Xbox Game Bar" BTW: Bad name as I don't own one.... The default combination is still used "DRUCK" means PrtScr:






The game bar was disabled, but if I enable it, the hotkey just shows this window:





Is there another setting I have to change to get back the behavior I'm used to? I do know other hotkeys for making screenshots, and I'm aware of the snipping tool. Please, no generic answers like reinstall Windows, sfc, dism .....

Thanks for your reply. I've tested my keyboard and its working fine. I can capture the entire screen with PrtScr key. But, Alt+PrtScr function is not working.

Alt+PrtScr. But now its not working. Still I can capture using PtrScr key. What's the problem with Alt+PrtScr?

Hi Jerin P George i would suggest you first make sure that your Alt and PrtScr key working to check click Kerboard
tester.

IF it won't, try Win + PrtScr Button for screenshot the snap will automatically saved in screenshot folder.

To add on, I would suggest you to try the snipping tool in Windows. It can help you take the screen shots easily.
