Windows 10: Win Hello 10 not working properly - need gped.msc

My Win Hello is not working right. The red indicator that it is looking for u doesn't flash. Then it says can't find the camera. The camera works but not for this application. When I go to program win hello, it says to make sure your face is in the box. Well first the box is so dark I can barely see myself - I barely see myself moving so I do know it works in that sense. BUT I can't select ok because that no longer works. It's grayed out. I searched for gped.msc but I can't find it and I am told you need the program to light up windows hello in the box. Any other suggestions on getting this app up and running? A Dell tech had to fix the camera and my whole system somehow got screwed up. I couldn't even log in with passwords or code. I've had to fix so much stuff!

Search option is not working properly in Windows 10

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: Restart the Service and check if it helps.

  Press Windows key + R.

  Type Services.msc In the search box.

  Select Windows Search.

  Restart the services and set the service as Automatic.
  

Step 2: Run the
Search and Indexing troubleshooter.

Follow the steps below and check if it helps.

  Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
  
• 
  Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons.
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel.

  Run the Search and Indexing
