Windows 10: Win key stopped working

EDIT: I tried a second keyboard and the WIN key works. HOW can it have broken both keys on my regular board.... They joined connected on the circuit board???



All of a sudden after days of uptime the Win keys (both of them) stopped working. I can not get ANY app or shortcut to recognize it. After some googling others has has the same problem. The fix that is suggested everywhere is

1. Open regedit
2. Got to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout
3. Delete entry: Scancode Map

But I don't have the Scancode Map entry. Please help with fixes

down arrow key stopped working

My razor lycosa down arrow key decided to not respond at some point today. The other ones work and so does the numpad arrow if i turn off the numlock. Sounds like its just broken and im screwed, but any suggestions?

 

random keyboard keys stop working?

i went out today and everything was fine, i come home and three random keys stopped working, maybe more i havent noticed yet. the three key on the left side of the keyboard not working, the left shift stopped working, and the enter key stopped working, but the one on the numpad works fine. no one was home to use it, nothing spilled on it, i tried it on another computer and same deal. im gonna go buy a new one tomorrow but it makes me sad cause i loved this keyboard lol, microsoft ergonomic 4000. ill probably buy the same exact one if its in stock tomorrow, this one lasted or 4 years about. im just confused why three random keys spread out stopped working at the same time...seems very weird

Exactly. Well my firefox was hanging up on me this morning figured id reboot. cause i dont think i had since i installed windows 7 on it a week ago or something. So i thought id reboot, then maybe prop the key open (though it didnt feel stuck). and yeah WIN.
