    win+Shift+S is causing brighter screenshots on 4k monitor


    win + shift + s when taken on my 4k screen ( running a triple monitor setup - 2 1080p monitors and a 4k tv as a third) are making the screenshots with high brightness. The colour is completely fine and consistent across all monitors until I go to do a screen grab on the 4k screen. any screengrabs on the 4k screen are brighter than if I try to take a screengrab on another monitor. video card is GTX 970 if that's important ..

    We understand your concern as the PC freeze when you try to take a screenshot using Win+Shift+S key.



    In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below.

    • What is the make and model of the PC?
    • What is the make and model of the Graphics card device installed?


    Meanwhile, we would suggest you to perform these steps and check.

    1. Press Windows key + X key, and select
      Device Manager.
    2. Scroll and expand Display adapters.
    3. Right click on the listed driver and click on
      Uninstall.
    4. Now check the box Delete the driver software for this device.
    5. Click on Uninstall.
    6. Restart the PC and install the latest driver from manufacturer website.

    May I know the Make and the Model of the Laptop?



    Graphic card of the Laptop should be compatible with the 4k Monitor to play 4k Video

    One monitor brighter than the other one?

    Since a few days I have a dual-screen setup but one thing is bugging me: The left (LG Flatron W2261VP) is BRIGHTER than my older right monitor (IIYAMA) and it's very noticable on the taskbar. I now have a brown taskbar and one bar is SIGNIFICALLY brighter than the other one)

    How can I adjust the colours so one monitor matches the other one? Cause one is now 'bleaker' than the other.
