Windows 10: Win+tab not working

    The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

    Win+tab not working

    Installing the latest Windows 11 update today (Mar 21st 2023) stops WIN+TAB from working.

    I tried the steps you've listed.



    a) I performed a clean boot

    b) I executed the dism command

    c) I execute the sfc commnd

    d) rebooted the system

    Alt+Tab worked, but pressing Win+Tab didn't and caused Alt+Tab to fail too. Restarting explorer restored Alt+Tab. Found that Win+Tab disabled Alt+Tab.

    I then figured out that a program - Explorer Patcher - I'd installed a year or earlier suddenly started causing the problem. They've issued a patch, but didn't want to continue with the program anymore. I uninstalled it and things are back to normal now!
