Windows 10: Win10 -2004, Slow - is it fixed?

Hi All,
I updated to Win 10, 204 release a couple months ago and my machine was slow and/or unresponsive, so I rolled back to 1909. I had read that I was not the only person having these issues. I was wondering if it was safe to try it again? The first time was quite scary because it took quite a long time for the machine to even allow me to roll back (like 1/2 hour). Thanx.

• Have you installed all pending Windows updates?
• Have you tried connecting to some other Internet connection and check if the same issue occurs?

We suggest you to connect your system to some other network and check if the same slow Internet connection issue persists. If no then there must be issue with your Internet connection.

Programs not working

In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
Are you able to follow them?
In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

 

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.
