Windows 10: win10 22h2 ms display adapter v2 not connecting

i have 2 surface proone pro5, one pro7after updating win10 22h2, pro7 that used to be ok using MS display adapter now cannot connecting.App from M Store cant update the bios since i cant connecting the adapter.pro5 hasnt been used for a while and hasnt updated for the newest windows version, but i use it to connect the adapter fine.suspicious at the update version but stupid I am, i update the pro5 window version to 22h2 as Surface reminds, no surprise it fails to connect the adaper.22h2 must be the cause, agony to me as mu work need the adapter as a teacher.Hope to be checked about the MS di

How to configure a MS display adapter v2 with Windows 10

I recently purchased a MS display adapter v2 for my laptop running Windows 10. I find that each time I use the adapter I must first "remove" it from bluetooth and then "add" it again. This is really a pain. It shows on my list of blue tooth devices as not connected. There seems to be no way to connect it without first removing it and adding it again. Also in the dropdown under the blue tooth icon the "allow a device to connect" is grayed out. I've replaced the device drivers for blue tooth and the adapter but it didn't help.
Has anyone had this problem and found a solution?

 

Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter v2 - Devices not connecting

Hi,

We are trying to use a Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter v2 so that we can cast our notebook to a screen.

We have plugged in the adapter to the TV and it is showing that it is ready to connect, but when we try to cast from the notebook it attempts to connect, even shows on the TV "username is trying to connect" but then nothing happens.

No connection is made, it returns back to the "home" screen and on the notebook it says that it failed to connect.

We have tried changing the notebooks Wi-Fi band to 2.4ghz and 5ghz, also tried reinstalling the Wi-Fi adapter but still it doesn't connect.

The strange thing is that it allows us to connect to the Wireless Display Adapter v2 with an Android device perfectly, just not the notebook which is running Windows 10 and is fully up to date.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what we could try?

Yes that is correct, the Android can connect but the laptop cannot connect.

Yes they are also both using the same Wi-Fi, but the Wireless Display Adapter does not connect to the Wi-Fi as it gives us no option.

We have also tested the Display Adapter with a different screen and it had the same results.
