    Win10 Action Center won't stay open- any ideas?


    Win10 Pro Ver 2004 OS 19041.630 running on a Lenovo T480 Intel i7-8650U, 1.9GHz, 16gb of RAM

    As title says, A-C won't stay open for more than 2 secs before it disappears. Tried all of the online solutions that I can find (restart explorer.exe, disk cleanup does nothing, re-registering in Powershell does zip, re-naming UsrClass file did nothing...).

    A bit frustrated as I keep some handy icons there for quick usage (like Snip and Project) but was wondering (short of re-installing the OS) what if anything else could I try? It was working fine up until a few months ago but any solution I find seems to have no effect.

    Appreciate any help this sub can provide, thanks!

    hello Brink, actually it was the setting to display the app's notifications in the action center, the "show in action center" was deactivated for some apps. they showed up but didn't stay long.

    now if only i could add programs that don't have installers to the list of apps in notifications.
