Windows 10: win10 activation shows error code 0xc004f050 but device is permently activated

win10 activation shows error code 0xc004f050 but device is permently activated

When trying to installwin10 on this pc had to call Microsoft where the agent suggested I use my win8 product

key to install, that did work but now I have this on the right side of the activation window 0xc004f050.

There are no issues with my account or updating the os or store apps so don't know if I should be concernedor not ?

I'm struggling to get my activation code to work, every time I enter the code, I get error 0xc004f050

When I'm in the settings menu, I keep getting a message "you need to activate windows before you can personalise this PC"

Any help would be appreciated
