  1. Win10 and OneDrive: where my C space has gone?:)

Dear reddit, probably you have seen this before – having a “problem” with OneDrive behavior. Story: built a new PC last week, set everything, enjoying my new PCIe 4 nvme drive. But something was weird – even though I did not install a lot of stuff on this it looks like it’s loaded with stuff already. Quick research with WinDirStat and I know the reason – One Dive created its folder in the Users folder and downloaded everything I have in my libraries on other drives. So now it looks like I have my pictures library on my other HDD and another copy of it on my C drive. Which is not what I want. I would like to have a backup of folders in a cloud service without having this doubled on my PC. Did I something wrong during the installation process? Or is there a hidden setting that prevents from this happening?

  3. Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

    Unallocated Space to C Drive

    Hi Travis,

It appears that a disk partition was created but was never assigned its allocation. Assuming there are no files stored in the unallocated partition, perform these steps to combine it with your C: drive:

    • In Disk Management, right-click on (CWin10 and OneDrive: where my C space has gone?:) :) which appears next to the
      Unallocated partition.
    • Select Extend.

Let us know if you're able to combine the spaces after following the steps above.

    Regards.
