Win10 Backup and Restore (Windows 7) Does not see my 2nd hard drive

So I have used the backup and restore (windows 7) from the control panel in the past to do a system image backup. I usually just use my 2nd hard drive in my PC. Oddly enough it when I go to the Hard disk option. My second hard drive does not appear on this list. I do run myself as a Standard user, but I have the same result when I login to my admin account too. I want to upgrade to 1909 but I want to make a system image first.

    Free hard drive backup/restore program?

I am looking for a free (freeware) program that will back up and restore a hard drive. I'm looking to clone a few external hard drives. If the program will backup the used space instead of the whole drive this will be awesome! Thanks for any suggestions.

  3. Free hard drive backup/restore program?

Obviously you're looking for something besides your Xp Pro utility that does this?

    Windows 7 Backup question

Hi, I have Windows 7 x64 HP. I've used the backup and restore feature to backup on an external drive, and I've also burned a copy of the restore software that it wished me to burn onto a CD. My question is, if ever my PC fails or something and I need to restore my files, will I need anything beyond the external drive and the backup CD? Or will I need the original OS CD as well? I upgraded to Windows 7 from Vista but I don't have my Vista disc anymore (lost it a long time ago), which basically means the Windows 7 upgrade disc shouldn't work either (to be honest, I haven't touched the disc in nearly a year so I don't really know where the W7 update disc is either :/). Thanks.
