    Win10 Bluetooth headsets dimming screen.


    My desktop PC has Windows 10 Professional installed and Bluetooth. There are two monitors attached to a NVIDA GeForce GTX 750 Ti video card. I noticed that a double press of the Forward button on a Dylan brand headset or a double press of the Answer button an an LG HB-750 headset will turn the main screen very dark ( but not black like screensaver does) AND the second screen is not affected at all!!!


    On the darkened screen the open windows, apps, and background can still be seen (although very dark) and the mouses will move across the darkened screen fully bright white, but will not turn off the dimming like it would with screensaver.


    I really love this feature because we can watch a video on one screen and dim the other screen so it's not bothering our eyes in a darkened room.


    The problem is that I can only turn on and off this feature with a bluetooth headset. That means that the sound can not go through the regular speaker sound system. Plus I would love to be able to dim one screen while working without a headset just to extend the screen life.


    I have been researching for days and can't find any information on this feature. The headsets do not list this feature in their user documentation. I can not find anything in Windows keyboard shortcuts that is like this. I don't even know what it is called! I can't find any info on how to use SCRNSAVE.SCR on only one of a multi-screen setup.


    How can I enable and disable this feature without using Bluetooth?

    I am currently in the market for a set a bluetooth headset. I noticed this and was rather interested, I love the design, and I love the price, is their anyone out there, who can provide info on these or another set of headphones, or bluetooth headsets in general. Thanks in advance.

    I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue Win10 Bluetooth headsets dimming screen. :p
