    Win10 BSOD on boot MULTIPLE_IRC_COMPLETE_REQUESTS

    Hi,

I've been running Win 10 for a while with no real problems. I had intermittent issues with my wifi and trackpad, so I downloaded drivers from my laptop's website (Samsung Series 9) and installed both. When I rebooted, i get a BSOD with the "MULTIPLEIRCCOMPLETE_REQUESTS" error. I'm assuming its on or both of these new drivers but I can't boot to unistall them. Booting to safe mode doesn't work either. The Win10 recovery screen gives me access to a cmd prompt so I assume I can delete the drivers via this but I don't know how to identify or remove them.

Sorry, I can't boot, so I can't collect the debug logs.

Thanks in advance for the help!

    :)

Help with BSOD, Dump files and system info attached.

Ok I managed to disable verifier through Safe mode. It was definitely iorate.sys failing it to boot as it said so on the Win10 boot bsod..

  3. DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION

I updated my Bios driver to latest.

I could no longer boot, "BootMgr is missing". After searching the boards and troubleshooting, the bios had changed the hard drive to boot from. I was able to successfully boot up into Win10.

Cold start continued to produce BSOD, as before.

Following Team ZigZag suggestions, rename Pnp680.sys to *.bak, resolved BSOD and now cold start and warm start smoothly into Win10.

Many thanks to your quick responses.

    Very helpful and much appreciated!

I ran SFC scan (which took about 15 minutes, it's never normally taken that long when I've run it inside windows) and it said that Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. I restarted and did the SFC scan again but got the same error. Here's the CBS log which apparently contains details of the scan but makes no sense to me.

Also, I tried the dism check health command and it says there is no corruption. I'm running another sfc scan now to see if it changes anything this time

OK, a clean install is often a good way to go and if you keep good backups it is not too difficult to recover your data. Programs and apps can be more of a pain though since you need to download and reinstall.
