Windows 10: Win10 computer not working

    Win10 computer not working


    A few years back my computer stopped working. At the time it was in my sister's used, and it was a loop of starting bsod for unmountable amount. Well I decided to fix it yesterday and started digging around. I downloaded the installation media on a empty usb, and got to the installation vs. repair screen, a progress, but the repair button gives nothing and now it won't open even with the usb plugged in even if the priority is USB, and I get the 0xc0000185 in loop and I don't know what to do anymore. None of my F keys seem to work to trigger the repair mode and I'm at the end of my wits. What else can I do?

    The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

    Got it working in the end, not sure what happened but now have bootable usb with Win10 on it.

    Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

    When in win10:
    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
    Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.
