Windows 10: Win10 drive failure to read

Discus and support Win10 drive failure to read in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; Windows fails to process my second drive.     Win10 drive failure to read


    Windows fails to process my second drive. I have an old hard drive with windows7 installed but everytime I plug the drive my keyboard dont work sometimes it just type "search-ms" and some spaces. When i remove the drive everything goes back to normal. Why does it do that, is that a windows bug or something. Also win10 boots soooooooooooooooooooooooo slow

    My pc specs:

    Mobo: Asus H61m-e 2014

    Ram: 2gb + 6gb Kingston KVR1333D3N9/4G KVR1333D3S8N9/2G

    CPU: Intel i3 3rd generation quad core


    Also windows fails to go to recovery mode when the drive is plugged.

    win10 restore point failure

    My win10 system won't boot after a restore point failure. What steps other than booting into safe mode? If I do a reset, will win10 be restored and my apps and data be ok?

    Cannot read NTFS-formatted files on flash drive on Win10 laptop

    • Try reading the drive off a different USB port.
    • Try reading it off a different computer.
