    Win10 for Enterprises v.1809: Failed install of KB4493509. Errorcode: 0x80070003


    In the last few years my computer has never had any problem installing updates. But in the last few days, it happened several times. After downloading, the update was installed and computer restarted and continued installing. Then it said installing failed and update was being canceled.

    KB4493509 fails to install

    boot with windows into safe mode with networking , then extract kb4493509 using 7.zip software then find .cab file

    then try with this command

    Dism.exe /Online /Add-Package /Packagepath:C:\windows10.0-kb4493509-x64.cab

    after finished , restart the windows

    I suggest you to follow the steps given in the link below and check if it helps you. Select Windows 8.1 from the Product list.
