Windows 10: win10 home shutdown leave inbuild keyboard backlight and power light on, they don't turn off

Hi I have Acer Predator PH315-51, i7-8th, 16gigs ram 250gb ssd. I tried turning off the fas tboot and hibernate but nothing works. I don't think its a bios problem cause i tried it on linux it worked perfectly fine. My inbuilt keyboard's backlight remains on and pc doesn't shutdown completely. But after several restarts and if i don't use my pc for too long it shutdowns sometimes.

Automating keyboard backlight switching.

Hi.
I have a Perixx 324 keyboard with backlighting. Fn+Home keys toggle the lighting.
When my computer boots-up, the keyboard backlighting lights up. That’s good.
When I close down the computer, the backlighting remains on. That’s not so good.

I have a shortcut to shut the computer down. What can I add to the code to operate the FN+Home keys so that the backlighting turns off.
The coding in the shortcut is

C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c shutdown /s /f /t 0

Or can you tell me another way to operate the backlight off command when I shutdown without having to use the Fn+Home keys?

 

Power button light on, external keyboard backlights on, and others

Today I had to leave the house, so I opened the power menu from the Windows button, and selected the option for my Dell Inspiron i5577 laptop to "Sleep." I come back later, hit the power button to turn the laptop on, and lo and behold, the power button light turns on. There is absolutely no power to the display of my laptop. My "gaming" mouse's rgb backlight is off, but whenever I click it, the rgb light comes on. It stays on as long as I hold the left or right click. My external monitor says there is no input from my laptop. I hold the power button down until the light on the power button turns off. I wait for a few seconds and then hold the power button to boot my laptop. It works fine now, but I do not understand what caused this and does this damage my laptop's hardware?

 

Keyboard lights

1. Did you mean the keyboard backlight or indicator lights (i.e. Num Lock)?
2. If your problem is about indicator lights, are you using a external keyboard?

--KEYBOARD BACKLIGHT--

Consult your laptop's manual downloaded from the internet. You might want to install some drivers in order to use the backlight.

--INDICATOR LIGHT--

1. LAPTOP KEYBOARD
   • If indicator light, try pressing the Caps Lock key and see if the caps lock light turned on. Same process for Scroll and Num lock.
   • Some laptops may show the "Caps Lock ON" in your laptop screen.
2. EXTERNAL KEYBOARD (EITHER USB OR BLUETOOTH)
   • When you use the external keyboard, locate the "Caps Lock" key indicator light. Try pressing the "Caps Lock" and make sure if it is turned on. Same process for Scroll and Num Lock.

If these are not working, try installing or updating the drivers. You'll need to restart after installing.
