Windows 10: Win10 install

Discus and support Win10 install in Windows 10 Updates and Activation to solve the problem; I've been unsuccessful installing Win10 as a VM on a linux host virtual box.     Win10 install


    I've been unsuccessful installing Win10 as a VM on a linux host virtual box. When I purchased the Win10 from Amazon so I assume its a good legit copy it came as a usb drive install.


    Unfortunately, this is a pain with VirtualBox because it will not install from a USB port. I read about many work arounds but most straight forward seemed to be to download a win10.iso disk and install from using the product key I purchased...but...


    Windows activation says its already been installed. When I work through the many options for help from MS I occasionally get to the point where they say they have located and fixed the problem just login and we are good right? Well trying to login blows up, hangs, or gives the most annoying error message ever of "Something went wrong. Try back later".


    Is this a product of using the downloaded win10.iso with my purchase product key? How do I get past this? I've called MS... its a stupid phone system that logs me off after not helping.


    I need some suggestions, I don't do IT for a living and rarely install windows if I can help it, so I'm sure I don't know many of the tricks. Help!

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

    Latest win10 Update 1803 cant install?

    I am having a issue with this update,. I fallow the steps via windows update, DL the update, shows install. ask me to reboot pc. after reboot its start the update install pc reboot several times. On the last time, I get a message saying" Restoring windows to previous version". Then it takes me back to windows, and i get a message update could not be installed.
    In windows update-control panel it shows update waiting for reboot. i click on it and does same thing. after install it restore to previous version. what is going on?
    I have disable windows firewall for time being.
    specs
    Z97 Pro gamer MB 4790k @4.7 DDR3 2400 RAM Win10 x64 M.2 and SSD.
