Windows 10: Win10 interferes with software download

Downloading software from a trusted source to run a machine I own. NEED the software. Win10 is making it very difficult to load into my PC. What can I do to override the preventing being done by Win10? Cant find the exe file either.

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

We would like to know more of the issue that you are experiencing to assist you:

• Do you encounter an error message when you try to download the said software?
• Is this happening in any software you try to download or is it only happening in this specific software?

Since you have the installation disc, you can try these steps:

• Insert the installation disc.
• Right-click on Setup.exe.
• Check Compatibility Mode and select Windows 7.
• Check Run As Administrator.
• Follow the prompts.
