Windows 10: Win10 is locking away RAM for some reason

Discus and support Win10 is locking away RAM for some reason in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; I recently bought Acer Nitro 5, and for some reason, only 5.94 RAM out of 8 are usable.     That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Win10 won't activate after RAM change

    Hey! I replaced my old RAM cards with two new ones, and now I'm stuck with a "activate windows" prompt in the bottom right corner of my screen. The troubleshooter does not seem to do anything (tried checking the changed hardware option + chose my device
    in the list of devices + it said win10 was now activated.... but the prompt won't leave.)

    I got win10 during the free upgrade period, and thus I don't have a product key... Any suggestions?

    Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

    Or you could go out on the town as suggested... *Big Grin Win10 is locking away RAM for some reason :D
