  1. Win10: Is there any way for the mouse cursor NOT to activate the auto hidden Taskbar?

I find the Taskbar that I have most definitely auto-hidden is often in the way, blocking stuff when I'm working with my cursor near the top of the screen. It's popping up all the time. All I need is to stop the cursor from activating the Taskbar. If I want to see the Taskbar I can hit the Windows key anytime. Most children know this. We really don't need these dumbed down help features Microsoft is constantly inundating us with. Nothing in Taskbar settings seems to address this. What about the Registry? Something is connecting the mouse location to the Taskbar popping up. All we n

  2. Is there any way of getting the auto-hidden Taskbar not to appear because the mouse cursor activated it?

Read my post again. I'm quite aware of the auto-hide function. Notice I mentioned it in the title of my post? The problem is the mouse cursor activating it. THAT's what I want to disable. I want the Taskbar to only show when I hit the Windows key, NOT if the mouse cursor goes to where the Taskbar is autohidden. Hopefully you understand the problem now. The answer probably lies deep in the Registry somewhere.

  3. Is there any way of getting the auto-hidden Taskbar not to appear because the mouse cursor activated it?

Didn't they notice this problem? I don't want to see that Taskbar unless I really need to and if so I can hit the Windows key. Very simple. There must be a way of stopping the mouse cursor from activating that thing. I've tried it on the top and bottom. Either way my mouse cursor hits it so many times each day. So distracting. It totally interrupts your flow.

Is there any way of getting the auto-hidden Taskbar not to appear because the mouse cursor activated it?

Yes of course that is what I said. I want the Taskbar NOT to appear if my mouse cursor goes in that area. Because no matter where you hide the Taskbar your mouse cursor is going to activate it many, many times a day and that's just stupid. We should be able to block this very poorly thought out "feature". And no I don't want to waste my vertical space by having a Taskbar there all the time. That would be stupid.
