Discus and support Win10 laptop suddenly refusing SMB1 connections in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; This might seem rather obvious but have you tried Network Reset?     Win10 laptop suddenly refusing SMB1 connections


    This might seem rather obvious but have you tried Network Reset? SMB1 should still work until the October update, does here as just enabled it to check using a usb drive connected to a USB port on the router that's only accessible via SMB1. Now disabled it again. Need to reboot for it to kick in.

    I did eventually fix the problem (much, no doubt to Bro's dismay). The solution was explicitly disable SMB1 in Windows features, reboot then explicitly re-enabled it again then reboot again. Somehow, turning SMB1 on and off again returned it to a working state.
