    I have a Windows10 desktop connected by ethernet to a Huawei router (TalkTalk supplied), a laptop running Win10 and an Epson XP-405 wireless printer, both the laptop and printer connected to router wirelessly and all linked in a network and on a Home Group.
    The desktop and printer have worked well together since I installed Win10 when it first became available but this since this last weekend I have been unable to connect from desktop to printer although laptop is still connected to both printer and desktop and can use printer.
    I have removed the printer and reinstalled in Devices and Printers from Control Panel (several times) and also downloaded the latest driver from Epson, disconnected printer from power and waited some minutes before starting up printer again, shut down and rebooted the laptop several times but all to no avail. Don't know if a recent Win10 update has upset things.

    Attempting to print from desktop to printer shows document in print queue but eventually results in error message stating printer is in 'error state' although no such message appears on printer screen.

    I can ping the printer from my desktop.
    Any forum member able to help me get reconnected to my Epson?

    my printer is shown in the listed printers but it is 'not connected' and I cannot see how to connect it (Epsom XP-405 Wi Fi)
