Windows 10: Win10 Mail will not print

    Win10 Mail will not print


    Win 10 Mail will not print an E-Mail. Win Live Mail 2012 will print an E Mail. My printers work.How do I get the printers to work with Win 10 Mail?

    Problems printing emails from Windows 10 Mail

    I could print everything but e-mail. I went to settings and selected my printer and clicked on make this printer my default printer, now it prints everything as requested!

    Cannot print from Mail in Windows 10

    Exactly the same problem with my CANON MX925 printer/scanner. I am unable to use a Windows 10 driver as there does not appear to be a generic one produced by MS, so I have deleted the printer from my system and reinstalled it from CANONs website. The driver
    they download is allegedly for Win10, however, whilst it works with other software on my PC, eg Word, Excel etc. it flatly refuses to recognise a print command from within the MAIL app in Win10, despite the print window confirming that its connected to the
    printer, pressing print achieves nothing, it doesn't even show in docs waiting to print. My only option has been to log in to my email account through outlook.com, open the email and it prints fine from there. My conclusion is that the Mail app for Win10
    obviously has some communication issues with certain makes/models of printer and it looks like MS are not providing a generic printer driver for some of these models that is supported by the Mail app......I'm a bit surprised really as I would have thought
    this to be a basic functionality requirement with an email app?
