Windows 10: Win10 PC keeps crashing when left idle and sometimes ingame

Hello,I've been having an issue which I noticed during the last month or two. My PC tends to crash, whether simply by blackscreening or giving a BSOD critical process failure. Sometimes it happens in-game, but I suspect it is not overheating since playing more demanding games didn't cause it in the past ie. Ghostwire Tokyo, Hunt Showdown, etc. on ultra settings. The last few times it crashed it was during Final Fantasy XIII, an older game. However, it always crashes, without fault, if left idle for 10-15 minutes. I come back to either a black screen or BSOD. This has not happened before.I

Taskbar can still be clicked when ingame.

Hi,

There may be a need to check out some settings on the PC as well as on the game itself.

That said, please do the following steps first:

• Click on Start and type in Settings on the
  Search bar.
• Click on Personalization.
• Click on Taskbar and turn the Lock the taskbar
  to On.
• Launch the game and see how it goes.

If the issue is the same, there is also a possibility that there are settings on the InGame that need checking. It would be best to contact the InGame developer and ask about that.

Bluetooth still on while idle

Thanks for following the steps. Now, the settings won't take effect if you are only using normal PC idle mode. Normal functionality of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi settings are to stay connected even if PC is idle. With the settings that you have created, we would
suggest that you set your PC to automatically go to Sleep or
Hibernate once idle. In this way, the settings "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" should take effect.

To set your PC to automatically go to Sleep or Hibernate when idle, please follow these steps:

• Open Control Panel, set view by: Small
  icons.
• Look for Power Options.
• Click on Change when the computer sleeps on the left pane.
• Set a timer.
