Windows 10: win10 pro: how can I prevent auto connecting to bluetooth devices upon startup?

HI,i have multiple bluetooth devices paired, but dont want them auto connected upon startup. This worked on win 7, but not on win10 pro. Whenever I reboot it connects to everything paired. How can this be turned off?thank you.

That is a horrible solution, as someone who remote assists a variety of technologically challenged people this posses a major headache. Can I suggest a simple auto connect checkbox similar to the WiFi feature.

I've tried this solution. It failed. I've removed the device as described above, and it no longer appears on the list.

However, it re-appears whenever I turn on my bluetooth device and the device connects. That's not what I want.

Bluetooth devices auto connect

I have paired my Windows 10 Laptop to a few devices and everytime I start my laptop up, the bluetooth automatically connects to the devices.

This is very useful for a bluetooth mouse, however I also have a soundbar connected to my TV which has bluetooth and the laptop automatically connects to the soundbar, switching the sound from the TV...... very annoying!

The problems is, there is no setting of stopping it auto connect to the soundbar, or any other paired device.

Apart from switching bluetooth off entirley, you can discount the device but at reboot it auto connects again!

Can someone please help me?
