Windows 10: Win10 Pro Key Code

I need to purchase a windows 10 pro key code for my PC, but I see that Micrrosoft stopped selling them on their website earlier this year, and I don't seem to be able to find a safe enough source to buy it from. Is there any recommendations on this matter?Also it's kind of frustrating that you can't seek support on this matter in person for some reason. It takes you into a silly loop that does not end up anywhere near a decent support.

Built new computer, running unactivated Win10 Home, have Win7 Pro key

I was initially thinking of buying a Win10 Home key, but I realized I still have a Win7 Pro key I purchased that I have never upgraded to Win10 and is not currently in use.

Two questions

• Can I use the Win7 key to activate Win10 (or is that no longer an option)
• Will Win10 Home turn into Win10 Pro (assuming I can still use key)

 

Win10 Pro Key & Activation

Hi,

I have a copy of Windows 8.1 Pro which I upgraded during the free upgrade time to Win10 Pro. Nothing has changed in my system except a new video card (other one failed :-( ).

I thought good time to clear out and start again with a new install. I used a keyfinder ( I tried it on existing copy of Win8,1 - showed correct results) to obtain Win10 Pro CD Key and made a not of this.

Put an .iso of Win10 onto a USB key and installed successfully the software.

When I try to enter the CD key & activate, I get error code 0x87E105DC

Could anyone please advise?

win10 pro upgrade from win10 home

I'm upgrading my home edition to pro which I have done before with other win10 home pc's, don't need or want the hassle of a new install.
I got a win10 pro, its the full pkg, with an install cd.
first I did the change key with the generic win 10 pro key, reboot, and then change key again to the new win10 pro, got the success message. however after checking system status with showkeyplus, it reports I have win10 pro but with a completely different key from the win10 pro I bought and installed. and has the message:
"* Default key - requires a Digital License for activation"

not sure where this has gone askew or if there is some other step in this simple process I'm missing
