Windows 10: Win10 Pro key for Win11

Hi,I’m going to re-install whole OS, and switch from Win10 to Win11.When I previously re-installed OS Win10 to Win10, just upgrade I used old original key for activation and it worked.So my question is, can I still use that same key for installing Win11, or I need to by another?Note: I’m not going to upgrade my Win10 to Win11 because it’s easier to backup data, format disk and install newer versions of the programs that I everyday use, so please write your answers only to the question above!Thanks.

Upgrade Win11 Home to Pro with Win10 Pro license

I purchased a PC with Win11 Home on it.

I have on my Microsoft account a Win10 Pro license from my old PC that is not being used.

Can I use that Win10 Pro license to upgrade my new Win11 Home to Pro?

Sorry for not having been clear enough. I don't need to upgrade my copy of Windows from Win8 to Win11, because I already have Win11 up, running and activated (the laptop originally came with Win10 and updated to Win11 without issues).

What I would like to do instead is to upgrade my current copy of Windows from Win 11 Home to Win 11 Pro using the Win 8 Pro key I bought in 2013.

PS In the mean time I found a post here on how to do the same thing with Windows 10, hopefully it also applies to Win11 but I'd still run a sanity check before breaking anything, including the EULA
