Windows 10: Win10 Pro key lost, want to upgrade Win 11 to Pro.

I had a Windows 10 Home laptop. I paid $100 to upgrade it to Windows 10 Pro. Then my computer completely died. When restoring the computer it came up with Windows 11 Home. I'd like to recover the Windows 10 Pro key and upgrade my Windows 11 install. How do I do that? Can Microsoft look up my purchase history and help me apply what I've already paid for?

Clean install of win 11 pro

I have a laptop running with a digital licence for Win10 Pro. The laptop originally came with Win 10 home but I upgraded to win 10 pro using a key from a win 7 ultimate dvd.

Windows update tells me I can update to win 11 pro from my present install and acquire a digital licence from MS.

My potential issue after doing so would be, if I wanted to do a clean Win 11 Pro install after getting the digital licence (for win11 pro) I suspect the install would read the bios key and install Win 11 home and not Pro. Apparently Win 7 keys are no longer valid for the Win 10 and 11 upgrades.

My question then becomes what steps do I follow to do a clean Win11 Pro install on this laptop bearing in mind the system came with Win10 Home.

Upgrading from Win 11 home to Win 11 Pro - using Win 10 pro key

I have a new laptop - running Win 11 Home

My old laptop was upgraded to Win 10 pro from win 10 home

Can I transfer this upgrade to the new laptop and then upgrade this to Win 11 Pro ?

Without it affecting any programs that I have installed ?

What would happen if I just change the product key on my Laptop to the old Win 10 pro one ?
