Windows 10: Win10 Pro x64 KB5001391 caused 0xc000021a stop code

Installed the KB5001391 update on 5 May 2021 for Windows 10 Pro x64.My PC rebooted after installation and I was presented with a stop code 0xc000021a and the PC shut down on its own after collecting data.1 I did some research and was ask to "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement". I could now load Windows normally, but the problem recurs after every shut down or restart.2 Did more research, and did a MSCONFIG "Selective Startup", checked "Hide All Microsoft Services" under the Startup tab and disabled everything. This did not help, the 0xc000021a stop code still appears.3

Windws error "stop code: 0xc000021a after reboot

In preperation to install latest version of office pro I removed office 2010. The system required a reboot to complete the operation, however, it failed with the error message stop code 0xc000021a. I can boot to a command prompt but that is all. I have
tried dism.exe with sveral options listed in community search but this also fails.

If we're correct, the stop-code should come up with an entirely blue screen, and it should be stated that an automatic restart will happen after automatically collecting some error information.
