  1. Win10 Reactivation: Still listed under devices, but wont activate

    Issue:

Win10 Pro digital key wont show up under options for reactivation, but it is still listed in my MS Account Device list.

    Details:

    1. Got 2 Win 10 Pro digital key/device listed/linked under my MS account, its still showing up in my device list, but when trying to activate windows its only showing the Win 10 Home digital key.

    2. The device Im trying to reactivate it on is still the same device, nothing changed, no hardware changed, if I click on device info for it under my MS Account, it still shows same exact processor, board, gpu and ram.

    3. I did OS reset in hopes to reset trial period of a Macro software (Blue Eye), funny thing is, after reset, Blue Eye Macro still detects same pc and trial period is still expired, Windows however wont reactivate.

    4. Support line asks me for my Product key which obviously I do not have anymore, otherwise, other option is to pay for new digital key.
    5. Support wants me to use the WIN 10 HOME digital key that shows up, but problem is, if I do that, what happens to the other 2 WIN 10 PRO digital key under my account.
    6. Support already tried phone activation and other things, now case is being escalated but support set my expectation that even escalations team will ask me for the product key, (which I do not have! fk), otherwise, they cant solve the issue, gg..customers are fd with this issue.

    Question:

    1. Anyone know solution? (Reinstalling windows is not an okay option for me because it takes too much time.)

    2. Anyone experienced same issue?

    3. MS Support out there? Please help..

    :)

Activation options for Win10 with instant clones

We have a secure (no internet access) lab environment setup to test and validate a VMWare VDI deployment of Win10 clients.

Our issue is activation of the Win10 clients as they require re-activation every time we logoff and back on because we are using instant clones.

Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to resolve this? Here are the options we are considering and issues as we understand them:

    • Setup a KMS server
      • Requires a Volume license, which is doable
      • Documentation says we must have a minimum of 25 hosts, we don' have that in our lab
    • Use our MSDN account
      • No support for Win10 KMS license
      • No support for MKS activation
    • Manually activate each time
      • Gonna spend a lot of time on the phone Win10 Reactivation: Still listed under devices, but wont activate :(
      • Win10 has no grace period so machines are crippled w/o activation
Anyone have a thought or suggestions? I'm hoping I missed something.

    Thanks

GPU-Z device list enumeration, device order?

Specifically, how are the the GPUs listed in the drop down sorted, or determined? Vendor and PCI ID? OS hardware device list? Other?

Sorry if this was answered somewhere already. Searching for "GPU LIST ORDER" and like terms were not helpful.

    Thanks.
