Win10 reserves 8712 TCP ports = breaks apps

Since installing 20H2 Cumulative update last week KB5003173 a number of apps will not run. Some give an error can't bind to port e.g. nzbget, iperf3 server mode.Of course I can use different ports, but that is a pain.Does anyone know why this update reserves so many ports? Can they be freed up?C:\>netsh interface ipv4 s

    :)

Unable to reset TCP port number to default settings

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

We understand that you want to reset the TCP port to default port settings, we will look into this for you.

You may try resetting the port using the netsh command and see if that helps. Refer the steps mentioned below:

    1. Type Command Prompt in the search bar on the
      Taskbar.
    2. Right click on Command Prompt icon and select
      Run as administrator.
    3. Now, past the command and hit Enter: netsh int ip reset
    4. Restart the computer.

However, we do have a dedicated forum for issues concerning TCP Ports, let me point you in the right direction, where you may get further assistance, if the issue persists. I would suggest you to post your query in
TechNet forums, where we have support
    professionals to address your query.

  4. Win10 reserves 8712 TCP ports = breaks apps

Looking for IIS real time TCP viewer, Logger

Can anyone suggest a free real time TCP viewer-logger?

    Later edit:
Currently I have TCP view from microsoft. It would be nice if it was sort of the same thing with the IIS log files, mail, and ftp ports, etc. along with some parsing.
