    Win10 Shortcut arrows The Sequel - Check Marks???


    Night before last after a windows 10 update, little symbols appeared on my desktop shortcuts - I didn't not ask for them nor fooled with any Tweaks.After cussing and then asking a question here, I took matters into my own hands and dug into my registry changing my Shell Icon Key to %windir%\System32\shell32.dll,-50Which got rid of them...Or so I thought.Sometime in the middle of last night about an hour ago they came back as checkmarks in green circles???I went into my registry and it still says %windir%\System32\shell32.dll,-50Since the registry entry to get rid of them hasn't changed How do

    Cross arrow shortcuts are shown on the icons after the November upgrade.

    • Are you using any third party software for any shortcuts icons?
    • Is it only for the shortcut apps or any other apps?
    • Are you facing any issues with the arrows above on the shortcuts?
