Windows 10: Win10 Shortcut arrows The Sequel - Icons vanish after Check Marks???

URGENT UPDATEAfter posting the below, I decided to reboot thinking whatever the setting did in registry, it'd do again... instead I now have large black boxes in front of the icons that block them completely, but don't prevent me from clicking them.Before I do a system restore, any advice?See original post below.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Night before last after a windows 10 update, little symbols appeared on my desktop shortcuts - I didn't not ask for them nor fooled with any Tweaks.After cussing and then asking a question here, I took matters

Cross arrow shortcuts are shown on the icons after the November upgrade.

To understand the issue better, I suggest you to answer the below questions.

• Are you using any third party software for any shortcuts icons?
• Is it only for the shortcut apps or any other apps?
• Are you facing any issues with the arrows above on the shortcuts?
