    Win10 slows to crawl and beeps when starting or installing programs


    Hi all,a few months ago I started to notice that at times, when I called up a program not always the same one, the PC would slow to a crawl and started to beep almost like Morse code for anywhere between 3 seconds to over 5 minutes. During that time, the PC is unusable due to the slowness.At the end of the time 3 seconds to sometimes over 5 minutes, the PC returns to normal operating speed. Another possibly related weird behaviour is that I try to install a program e.g. iClone from Reallusion and the installer asks permission to run as admin ... then it returns to the normal

    Windows 10 slowed internet to a crawl

    Hi,

    Sorry for the delay in the reply.

    What browser are you using?

    I would suggest you to un-install and re-install network adapter drivers.

    Try the following steps:


    • Right on the start icon and click on device manager

    • Expand Network adapters, Select the network adapter, right click on un-install.

    • Restart the computer,

    • Now, install the latest drivers from the network adapter manufacturer's website.

    One program crawling after Windows Creator Updates

    After installing Win10 Threshold 2 upgrade, everything has dramatically slowed down: boot time is slower, login after password/pin takes forever, screen refresh crawls and apps load and perform much slower ... please help!
