Windows 10: Win10 to Win11 transfer dilemma

Greetings!My older PC does not meet the requirements to auto-upgrade from Win10 to Win11...it appears the i5-7400 amongst other things doesn't meet the necessary requirements. Because of that and the age of the current rig , I'm going to do an upgrade and get a newer PC. It's currently being built but I do not have it "in hand" just yet.1. Current System:-HP Envy PC w/ Win10 Home: Intel Core i5-7400 CPU, Intel HD graphics 630, 32GB RAM, 1 500GB Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVMe M.2 SSD, 1 WD SATA 1TB SATA HDDOn this system, Win10 plus all my desktop stuff, apps, docs, etc. are on t

what is the best way to transfer all files from win10 system to win11

 

Win11 upgrade not coming

If you checked again my previous replies, you can see ASUS re-installed my new notebook a even newer Win10 Home installation. After this 2nd time installation, I only did these to the toy:

1. installed chrome
   
2. changed its display brightness
   
3. changed wallpaper
   

After your previous suggestion, the 1 month temp McAfee was gone.

I can't figure out why I can't upgrade to Win11 for such a new notebook. Newer notebook will come with Win11 natively

 

Same VPN that works on Win10 won't work on Win11

Here is the exact text of the other error I sometimes see. This one seems to appear on my win11 machine only if I haven't connected to the VPN from my win10 machine recently.

"The network connection between your computer and the VPN server could not be established because the remote server is not responding. This could be because one of the network devices (e.g. firewalls, NAT, routers, etc) between your computer and the remote server is not configured to allow VPN connections. Please contact your Administrator or your service provider to determine which device may be causing the problem."

Just to rehash the steps I've taken to troubleshoot this particular error:

1. It doesn't appear to be the firewall on my win11 laptop, because I've tried connecting with it turned off, and haven't had any success.
   
2. It doesn't seem to be anything in between my home network and the remote VPN server, because I can connect from my win10 laptop on the same network.
