    Win10 update 22H2 always stuck at 61% , what to do?


    Win10 pro laptop is stuck at 61% while applying patches of 22H2. This is happening for the 5th time and every time it takes almost 3-5hrs.

    Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

    When in win10:
    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
    Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

    Microsoft update Windows 11 stuck on 61%

    Hi I recently received update Windows 11 insider preview 2258.1 (ni release) and for several days it has been stuck on 61% at the install stage. Today I was told attention was required as the update had failed to install I clicked on try again and Windows 11 update version 22H2 insider preview 100.22581.100 (ni release) was downloaded, but once again stopped and stayed on 61%!

    Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can resolve this issue?

    Thank you for reaching out and offering your assistance. I appreciate your help in resolving the Windows Update issue I'm facing.



    I've been waiting for quite some time now, around 3 hours or so, and it's been stuck at 61%. I don't have any third-party antivirus software installed, so that shouldn't be causing any conflicts. As for storage space, I have checked, and I do have enough space available for the update.



    I followed your instructions and ran the Windows Update Troubleshooter as you suggested, but unfortunately, the update is still stuck at 61%.



    Is there anything else you recommend I try? I'm eager to get this issue resolved and have my system updated.
