Windows 10: Win10 v2004 - DirectX 11 not working correctly? Help :(

I suspect DX11 to be the cause of a loading issue i expierience in games that i play, what can i do?

On a fresh Win10 install the game works fine at first in DX11. with load times of ~5 seconds.

After a short while though, when playing again it tanks to 45-60s in DX11. DX12 however retains the loadtimes of 5 seconds.. it leaves me puzzled?

Is there a background update from the microsoft store i have no control over, like with the Spotify/Xing apps auto install? Maybe to push the DX12 Ultima update to the system wich would explain it working fine first but suddely not anymore?

Dxdiag still tells me i just have DX12 but that might be normal? What can i do? As far as i know there is not a DirectX package installer for Win10 anymore?

• Does this issue happens only with DirectX apps and games?
• Have you installed all the latest drivers?

If yes, then I suggest you to install all the updates and check if it work's.

Need help with getting DirectX 11 to work

I have DirectX 12, but application requires DirectX 11

I do have directX, but just not 11, i have 12. My question is why I cant run a directX 11 app with directX 12. The link sent was a link to the directX installation. Please read the question before posting the answer.
