    Why did this update disable sharing on the Win 10 computers?


    I have two computers running Win 10 and two running Win 7. After the update to v 2004 neither of the Win 10 computers could find the shares on the Win 10 ones, but they could still see the Win 7 ones in File Explorer Network folder and open the shared ones. The Win 7 computers could still see and open the Win 10 computer shares. Drive mapping would not work between Win 10 computers either.


    This was similar to the Win 10 v1803 upgrade that removed Homegroup.


    I had to re-share my Windows 10 computer shares to resolve this issue.

    Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

    When in win10:
    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
    Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

    Why is my Win10 v1903 upgraded to v2004 and not to v1909?

    My Win10 v1903 system is upgraded directly to v2004.

    Why isn't it upgraded at first to v1909 ?

    How can I tell Win10 for the next feature update to step forward only 1 version and NOT 2 (=not to skip one version)?
