    Win10 version 1607 update WiFi suddenly gone, I can not turn it on


    Hi!

    During the last I updated to Win10 version 1607, everything worked fine.
    Today morning, no WiFi connection. In Network and Sharing center I can turn it on, but when I click on the WiFi icon in the taskbar it tells me that is turned off.
    I checked the device manager, the driver exist and it is updated, I am using Realtek RTL8192DE Wireless LAN.
    I also downloaded Driver Talent, but it says that the wireless driver is updated.

    Can't Install ANY Fonts in Windows 10

    I had the same problem on my Win10 pro 64bit 1607, and turn on Windows Firewall didn't work for me.

    It turns out it's caused by an old version of COMODO Firewall (10.0.0.xxxx, can't remember the exact version) in my case.

    After I uninstalled COMODO Firewall the problem is gone, I can preview and install fonts now (even with Windows Firewall turning off).

    I also re-installed the latest version of COMODO (currently 10.0.1.6223) later and everything is still working fine.

    ESENT Event ID 508,510 and 533 warnings in Event Viewer

    Microsoft have come up with an effective fix and my problems have suddenly gone away with the Creators Update (Build 1703 Version 15063) and from my perspective this is the best build since before 1607. Pity I had to struggle with a broken system for 6
    months!

    Hello, Try the simple things first.
    1. Open the Action Centre (from the bottom right icon). Check the state of Flight Mode and Wifi.
    2. When these are correct, right click the networking icon, and click
    Troubleshoot Problems

    Post back with the results.

    I guess your laptop came with Win 7 - does your manufacturer list it as approved for Win 10?

    Were you running Win 10 on it and then upgraded- and did Wifi previously work?

    Otherwise you might try the last driver available from your manufacturer. What type is you laptop? (Doesn't say in your specs).
