Windows 10: Win10: When starting up, launching several programs, do you find they interrupt your...

I don't know if I'm just imagining it but every morning when I turn on the computer I notice that if I start multiple programs they all demand attention in that they hold the Taskbar hostage and are highlighted. When anything on the Taskbar is highlighted the Taskbar blocks part of the screen. I autohide my Taskbar of course. If I'm working on the 1st program I want the others to open in the background instead of shouting for attention by requiring me to go to them to acknowledge their presence. I don't remember it being like this in Win7. So many things got so dumb in Win10. So many t

How to solve this ? sincere help is appreciated..

 

Program will not launch

A program I have used for years with Windows 10 will not launch with Windows 11. It appears to start launching (circle on screen) but does not fully launch. The program developer says it is compatible with Windows 11 and none of their suggestions worked. I am using an Asus Vivobook.

If the program you are referring to is written to work with older version of Windows, Windows 10 will still try to run the program in Compatibility Mode. Program compatibility is a mode in Windows that lets you run programs written for earlier versions of
Windows.

I suggest you to reinstall the program in Compatibility mode and check if it helps. follow the below steps.

• 
  Right click the setup file for the program, this can be designated as
  setup.exe or something similar. Click Troubleshoot Compatibility
  to launch the Program Compatibility Troubleshooter wizard which will check for issues.
  
• 
  Select the option “Troubleshoot program”
  and depending on the problems you are experiencing when attempting to install or use the software, check off the problems. Click on Next.
  
• 
  Select a version of Windows the program is known to work in.
  
• 
  Click on Next and then follow the on screen instructions.
  

If the issue still persist, you need to contact the software vendor and check for the latest updates to make the program run on Windows 10.
