Windows 10: Win10 x86 installation on clean HDD is stuck in a loop

This is a continuation of a journey to update my Acer laptop (specs in My Computer below) to the current version of Win Pro v.1903. It started in the "IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL" when trying to re-install Win10 Pro x86 thread in the BSOD forum section, after trying to do an in-place upgrade from the original Win10 x86 Pro version and mucking it up by deleting the C:\ partition.

I've created a bootable USB drive from a July 2015 version of Win10 x86 .ISO file. (A bootable USB drive from the v.1903 Win10 x86 .ISO would not boot on my Acer laptop.)

At this time, I'm just trying to get a functional Win10 Pro system on the laptop. After that, I'll tackle updating to v.1903.

When I boot from the USB thumb drive:

- it boots to the Windows Setup screen where you choose language, time format & keyboard.

- The next screen has Install and Repair options, so I choose Install.

- To start fresh, I deleted the single NTFS partition that spanned the entire disk.

- Then I proceeded to install Windows on "Drive 0 unallocated space."

- Things proceed through "Getting files ready for installation." It slowly gets to "100%" and then returns to the initial Windows Setup screen where you choose language, time format & keyboard.

It's stuck in that loop.

How do I get it to move past the "Getting files ready for installation" part of the process?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

Fixed the wifi problem on my own laptop that way, but my step dad did not know how to do this so he just started win7 recovery and than got stuck in loop. Want to try to restore win7 but Microsoft wont let me dowload the file and my step dad cant find any recovery disk. I can try to run from the backup, but the backup file was made by connecting the hdd as external to another laptop when he got stuck in the windows install loop. Tried clean installing win10 from media creation time for like the 10th time yesterday, but at the end of the install the laptop automatically restarts and starts the process over again (using the custom install option).

Another major problem atm is, as mantioned, that the laptop wont read / boot from the hdd. I can find it in the boot menu(as number 1 when not using usb). But the toshiba skips this step and goes straight to booting from network card. This means that i cant use the automatic install option on media creation tool, since it tells me to remove usb unit and restart (boot from hdd), and continue installation...

any tip on getting the hdd to boot or how to get a leagal win7 install file?

Win10: Windows update is stuck at never ending loop ? ( Last Win10 updates in 2017 ). Can't update the laptop. Genuine Win10 on a HP 2015 17.3" laptop that originally had Win8. ( CPU:AMD A9, GPU:Radeon R5 ).

If I download this below file does it manually install the latest updates of Win10 (=2018 April Update) without losing any files currently on the machine ? ( Mainly paid Office 2013 )
