Windows 10: Win11 24h2 update always does a rollback to 23h2

My PC runs on Win11 23h2 and PCHealth Check still indicates my pc is compatible TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, compatible processor...First I got the 24h2 offered via Windows Update.Download and installation seemed going fine until the last ? reboot.The I got the message the installation would be reversed rolled back.I found one of the more generic error codes in the installation log probably referencing to a driver issue, but no clue which one.All my drivers seem up-to-date.I retried the installation 3 times with no success.After the third try the update disappeared from Windows Update. processor intel i3 7020u

can i install windows 11 24h2 on this processor because i run 23h2 in this processor

and what is the latest windows 11 23h2 cummulative update for June

and when windows 11 24h2 release for us

 

Could the update from 22h2 to 24h2 be problematic?

We have a customer who currently has the W11 22h2 in operation and would like to suspend 23h2 in order to switch to 24h2 in 2025. What is Microsoft's recommendation in this regard? Could the update from 22h2 to 24h2 be problematic?

Thank you for your reply. The machine was recently upgraded to 23H2 from 22H2 through in-place upgrade. I had to use in-place upgrade as the earlier monthly security update of 22H2 was also failing to install as none of the steps as suggested above by you didn't fix the issue earlier. Do I need to run in-place upgrade again?
